Excerpt from a press release:

“What will they think next? Jack Mayer and Jack Walten (the “Jacks”), founders of Sea Suite Cruises, who brought the first paddleboat bars to the Potomac with the Paddle Club, started the Potomac Tiki Club, an 18-passenger party on the water. boat sailing out of Georgetown harbour.

The motor-operated teal blue floating tiki bar, unlike the Paddle Club boats which require passengers to move, does 90-minute cruises to the Key and Rosslyn bridge, past the Twin Sisters, back to pass points of Riverview landmarks like Georgetown University, Kennedy Center, Watergate Hotel, Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

The Potomac Tiki Boat has a semi-circular bar in its center with seating around it, a lounge area and an onboard bathroom. All cruises are equipped with a dedicated bartender and a USCG-certified Master Captain.

Cruises are popular for groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, family celebrations, corporate bonding experiences and simply as a new way to see the sights from a vantage point on the river. Anheuser-Busch beers and canned cocktails are available for purchase, along with wine and soda. Passengers can bring their own food and snacks.

Priced at $45 to $55 per person, cruises can be booked here.”
