Avalon Waterways plans to start river cruises in Europe in July



Avalon Waterways plans to return to European rivers this summer. From July, the company will conduct selected river cruises on the Seine in France, followed shortly after by the Rhine, Danube, Rhone and Moselle.

“Interest in small ship river cruises has never been greater, and we are excited to help lead the return of cruising with Suite Ship Cruises to Europe this summer,” said Pam Hoffee, Director General of Avalon Waterways.

The first trip will be the departure on July 20 from “Paris to the Normandy Landing Beaches” on the Seine. The first cruise on the Rhine of the year will be the departure on August 7 “Romantic Rhine”, followed by “Danube Dreams” from August 10, “Burgundy and Provence” on the Rhone on August 31, “The Rhine and the Moselle ”on September 10, and the“ Discovery of the Balkans ”on the Lower Danube on September 10.

The festive winter vacation cruise season will unfold as originally planned.

Avalon Waterways unveiled a new marketing campaign, featuring iconic river cruise venues singing Player’s “Baby Come Back”.
